Program Overview

CampusPlus Canada’s mission is to help young foreign students find their place and achieve their peak performance in Canadian culture.

The organization was launched by an intergenerational family team that has seen firsthand the struggle of young men and women adapting to life in Canada. Our goal is to help them achieve their best academically, maintain their faith and ultimately incorporate the best elements of Canadian and their “native” culture through a faith-based living arrangement and peer mentorship.

Our hope is that foreign students will excel in their fields of study and be empowered to live their best life.

How the Program Works

STRUCTURED STAY

The CampusPlus program provides year-round lodging for its students in an environment that is conducive to productivity. We make every effort to ensure that students have comfortable living arrangements that will accommodate work and leisure activities. All CampusPlus accommodations will be located near public transportation services and markets to suit the student’s everyday needs.

At CampusPlus we believe that international students with strong cultural insight will be more adept in their academic and social environment. For this reason, each living unit has live-in support staff who will work with your child during the school year. Staff will help students adjust to daily life in Canada. They will also help students understand cultural norms and customs, both at home and out in the community. In short, CampusPlus staff are there to help guide students through the spiritual, personal and academic aspects of their lives.

Since maintaining faith is one of our primary goals, we do our utmost to ensure that each student is properly connected to a Christian community. Our support staff will help each student integrate into a local church where they can attend weekly services, meet other Christians and volunteer if they so choose. Ottawa’s community of young faith-filled Christians is growing daily.
